Adjusting to wearing glasses after struggling with eyesight issues while dealing with post-viral fatigue and EHS has been a rollercoaster. While I’ve steadily increased my wear time, some days, like today, I find myself barely having the energy to keep them on. It feels like my body’s still catching up with the change, and some days, even eight hours of wear feels overwhelming. I’m learning to listen to my body and take breaks when needed. It’s all about finding balance as my body adapts to this new phase. Patience, once again, is key in this healing journey.

Traveling with EHS is like stepping into an EMF battlefield—airports buzzing with Wi-Fi, security scanners zapping you, and airplanes packed with Bluetooth signals. This trip, I’m testing the Aires Flex to see if it helps mitigate the electrostress. I’m also running a little experiment: one flight with noise-canceling AirPods, one without. Will Bluetooth exposure drain me more, or will my big amygdala regret the extra noise? Plus, my post-flight recovery plan includes grounding ASAP and extra hydration. Stay tuned for the results—because flying shouldn’t have to feel like an energetic wipeout!
The Ultimate Recovery Combo: My Experience with Weighted Blankets and the Aires Flex
When I combined a weighted blanket with the Aires Flex, I unlocked the ultimate recovery combo. Initially, the deep touch pressure of the weighted blanket overstimulated me, but once I adjusted, it helped me relax, sleep better, and stay grounded. The real magic happened when I added the Aires Flex to the mix. As someone sensitive to EMFs, having this tech alongside my blanket helped me experience its full potential. Now, I enjoy the calming effects of the blanket, free from EMF interference, creating a perfect balance for healing and self-care. It’s truly been a transformative combo.
