This week, an unexpected visitor brought lessons of resilience, self-compassion, and transformation into my life. A beautiful peacock butterfly, Frodo, appeared in my bedroom, struggling with a broken wing. Our shared journey mirrored my inner struggles as I faced fatigue, emotions, and the need for healing. Naming him Frodo, after the resilient hobbit, I cared for him as he reminded me to embrace compassion—not only for others but also for myself. Frodo’s broken wing became a symbol of burdens carried and strength found. As he rests now in wintersleep, I trust his story isn’t over—just as my own continues to unfold.
