For a long time, I didn’t realize I was living with chronic stress.
I had already been through two burnouts, but never truly healed from them—I just kept going, not knowing how much tension my system was carrying. By the time I became aware of Epstein-Barr, I started connecting the dots:
she had likely been active for 15 years, and she’d been able to stick around because I was an excellent host.
Why? Because my body had been living in survival mode for far too long. Chronic stress had quietly shaped the perfect environment for this virus to thrive.I was the girl with lingering fatigue, strange flare-ups, and a diagnosis that came with no clear timeline: Epstein-Barr virus. It was active in my body for fifteen years. That’s not just a long infection—that’s a full chapter of life. One where I kept searching, trying, and often blaming myself for why I wasn’t healing like I was “supposed to.”
And when I say stress, I don’t mean the kind you shake off with a bubble bath and a to-do list app. I mean deep, unrelenting, cellular-level stress. The kind that’s invisible, but ever-present. The kind that rewires your immune system until it’s in permanent survival mode.
What Kept Me in Chronic Stress for So Long?
Let me paint the real picture.
There were two major forces behind the constant pressure on my system—forces I didn’t even fully understand at the time:
1. I am electro-hypersensitive (EHS)
Living in a world buzzing with Wi-Fi, smartphones, and invisible EMFs wasn’t just inconvenient—it was toxic to my body. Every room, every train, every public space came with a silent attack on my nervous system. I couldn’t relax, because my body was constantly reacting.
Having EHS is no small thing. It’s a condition that affects the body on every level, and it took me years to understand what was actually happening.
In this article, I explain what EHS is and how it shaped my healing journey.
And the worst part? Nobody saw it.
Not even me, at first. I just knew something always felt off. That my energy would crash for “no reason.” That certain places made me feel like I was drowning in static. It took me years to understand that my sensitivity was real—and not just real, but a root cause of the constant stress load.
2. I wasn’t living as myself
I didn’t know I was a quantum sensitive. An Indigo.
I didn’t know my soul needed wide open space, alignment, and frequency-level clarity to thrive.
Instead, I was trying to be “normal.” To fit into an environment that felt wrong in every cell of my being. And that mismatch? It left my system in a constant fight-or-flight loop.
Because here’s the thing:
When you don’t know who you are,
you can’t advocate for what you need.
And when you don’t get what you need,
your body keeps the score.
My environment was emotionally, energetically, and physically unsafe—and my immune system had to stay on guard all the time. That’s how Epstein-Barr found the perfect storm to thrive in.
It’s Not Just Me—It’s All of Us
While my personal story includes EBV, chronic stress shows up differently for everyone.
For some, it’s gut issues. For others, migraines, burnout, or autoimmune symptoms.
We live in a world that normalizes exhaustion and disconnection—so we adapt. We push through.
But the body always keeps the receipts.
If you’re reading this and your system feels stuck, depleted, or hypersensitive to life…
you’re not “too much.”
You’re probably too sensitive to live in misalignment any longer.
The Turning Point
Healing didn’t happen because I found one miracle fix.
It started when I changed my relationship to stress—and to myself.
That’s why I wrote my e-book, The Indigo Healing Guide.
Because the healing didn’t begin with a protocol or a supplement.
It began when I stopped trying to be someone I wasn’t.
In the book, I walk you through my full story—raw, honest, spiritual—and share the actual healing mechanisms that helped me shift:
energetic practices, bodywork, emotional integration, nervous system support.
The Nervous System: The Real Gateway to Healing
This is where everything truly began to shift for me.
You can try all the right supplements, eat the cleanest food, and still stay sick if your nervous system is stuck in survival mode. And in my case, that system wasn’t just dysregulated—it was stripped down to the core.
Years of unhealed burnout, trauma, and energetic misalignment had left me in a constant state of high alert. My system wasn’t just overactive—it had forgotten how to feel safe. So before I could heal anything else, I had to give my nervous system what it needed most: a chance to regenerate.
At first, this looked like deep rest.
Doing less. Saying no. Rebuilding the foundation that had been missing for so long.
And once my system had enough space to breathe, I could begin the second phase: reprogramming.
This is when I started to recognize how many parts of my life were still activating stress signals.
I realized my environment wasn’t neutral—it was part of the problem.
- I was constantly surrounded by electromagnetic stress that my body couldn’t ignore.
That’s when I discovered EMF support, and eventually found the Aires Effect—something that finally gave my cells a break. - I also began noticing how people-pleasing and lack of boundaries were keeping my body tense, even in relationships that seemed “fine” on the surface.
I had to start saying no—even to people I loved. Even to habits and patterns that once felt like home.
This was deep work. Quiet work.
But it changed everything.
The Tools That Helped Me Heal
Once my nervous system began to settle, the tools I had always dabbled in started to land. My body was finally in a place to receive.
These were the ones that supported me the most:
- The Aires Effect
Adding Aires wellness tools to my environment was the turning point for my EMF sensitivity. It gave my body a protected space, and over time I noticed fewer crashes, less brain fog, and a greater sense of internal peace. - Yin Yoga
A slow unwinding of stored stress—both in my body and in my breath. Yin helped me shift out of doing and back into feeling. - Bioresonance Therapy
This helped my immune system find its way back to balance, especially in relationship to the Epstein-Barr virus. It gave my body a language to release old patterns and re-tune its frequency. - Shiatsu Treatments
I’ve always felt that energy flows through the body like water—and Shiatsu helped me clear the blocks, especially in my organs, after years of stagnation. - Breathwork
Not just for calm, but for reconnection. Breath became a way to reach the places that words and thoughts couldn’t. I especially loved the diaphragmatic release work—big for rewiring my vagus nerve and bringing softness back into my belly. - Spiritual Grounding
Through Human Design, the Duality course, and my own journey as an Indigo, I learned that healing wasn’t just physical. It was about finally coming home to who I really am.

You Don’t Have to Stay Stuck in Survival Mode
If you take one thing from this post, let it be this:
Chronic stress doesn’t have to be your normal.
Even if you’ve lived in it for years. Even if no one believes how much it’s costing you.
It’s possible to live differently. It’s possible to heal.
And sometimes, the first step is remembering who you really are.
