I’m Not Just Someone Who Benefits From Grounding—I Require It
For me, grounding isn’t optional.
It’s not a nice-to-have.
It’s not a tool I use sometimes when I feel overwhelmed.
It’s a lifestyle.
Because I’m a quantum sensitive. Because I’m an Indigo. Because I carry more frequency than most people do. My system is porous and electrically active. I don’t just feel the world. I conduct it.
So I ground for two main reasons:
- To discharge EMF stress and static from my system (earthing, nervous system regulation)
- To anchor my energy body into my physical body (spiritual grounding, embodiment)
I explained this more deeply in my article on the Duality course, which helped me realize how often my energy body used to float outside my physical one.
I also wrote more technically about what grounding is and how it helps regulate your system.
But what really surprised me was how clearly my Human Design chart confirmed all of this.
How Human Design and Grounding Are Deeply Linked in My Chart
Here are the key areas where my chart makes it clear:
1. Sacral Center = Earth Battery
As a Generator, my life force lives in the body—not the mind, not the stars, but the literal earthly hum of my sacral.
I’m designed to feel lit up from the inside out by what I do. But I can’t feel it clearly if I’m floating in mind loops, upper chakras, or other people’s energy fields.
Grounding = dropping back into my source of power.
Otherwise it’s like running a microwave on flickering WiFi.
I’ll burn out.
2. Open Centers = Energetic Sponge
I have several undefined centers in my chart, which makes me an energetic sponge—especially emotionally and mentally.
That means I unconsciously pick up and amplify:
- Emotions
- Mental chatter
- Fears
- Expectations
- Chaotic vibes
Grounding is how I say:
“Thanks, not mine. Returning to sender.”
It clears my field. It resets my center.
Without it, my auric system stays gunked up—and I start reacting from confusion instead of responding from clarity.
3. Emotional Authority = Ride the Wave, But Don’t Drown
My authority is emotional. My decision-making doesn’t live in the mind. It lives in the solar plexus—and it comes in waves.
That means I need time. I need to ride the emotional current before I get clarity. But if I’m not grounded when the wave hits?
I get dragged under.
I merge with the emotion instead of surfing it.
When I’m grounded, I can say:
“I’m feeling a lot, but I’m anchored. This too shall pass.”
Without grounding, it’s:
“Who am I? What do I even feel? Is this mine? Do I need to change my life right now??”
(Yeah… been there.)
Want To Read From The Beginning?
This post is part of a Sunday bonus series on how I decode myself through Human Design.
You can read Part One here, where I explain why I bought the book, what Human Design is, and how it immediately confirmed parts of my nature I used to see as flaws.
And yes, this is officially part of my biohacking series—because self-knowledge is the highest technology there is.
See you next Sunday for Part Three.
If you’re curious about your own design, I got my Human Design book through Clenda Moen, where they create a fully personalized guide based on your chart. This blogpost is part of series. Read all articles here.
Want to dive deeper into my full healing story?
I’ve written The Indigo Healing Guide to share everything I’ve learned in 15 years of living with Epstein-Barr, post-viral fatigue, and quantum sensitivity. It’s part memoir, part manual—created for anyone walking a similar path. I wrote it because I couldn’t find the kind of guide I desperately needed back then. So I made it—for you.
