I always forget how powerful the time change is—until it hits.
Just one hour, and suddenly my body feels like it’s living in another timeline. My quantum sensitive system doesn’t just register time changes; it translates them into energy shifts, hormone fluctuations, emotional waves, and digestion drama.
If you’ve been foggy, flat, or just not yourself lately, it might not be “you.” It might be the time change recalibrating your whole rhythm.
Because when time shifts, our light bodies shift too.
When the Time Change Ripples Through the Body
The nervous system is wired to light, not clocks.
So when we move from summer time to winter time, our circadian rhythm scrambles to catch up. Cortisol and melatonin start a new dance, digestion slows down, and moods swing in strange directions.
Here’s how the recent time change played out for me:
- Waking up before dawn like my body missed the memo
- Feeling emotionally dull and low-vibe
- Sluggish digestion and bloated belly
- Foggy afternoons with zero focus
- That weird “off” sensation—like I was half a beat behind reality
It was as if my energy was still vibing in last season’s light.
Grounding: My Time Change Reset Button
My first move? Back to Earth.
Even in gray, windy weather, I grounded every day. Barefoot on damp grass. Hands on a tree. Feet in cold sand. Six minutes here, nine there—just enough to remind my body what now feels like.
Grounding during a time change is like rebooting your frequency.
It syncs your inner clock to the planet’s natural rhythm instead of the artificial one we invent twice a year.
When your body feels lost in time, the Earth always brings you back.
The Belly Knows the Time
As my gut rebelled against the time change, I brought in a classic ally: castor oil belly massage.
Slow, circular strokes, warm compress on top, and a whisper of care to my organs.
The next morning? Flow restored. Belly calm. Energy smoother.
Our liver, gut, and womb-space are emotional archives. They register time shifts, equinoxes, and hormonal tides before our minds even catch on. Touching them brings regulation back into the body.
Emotional Regulation Over Expectation
During these transition weeks, I drop the rules.
I let myself eat the comfort food, nap when needed, drink the tea, cry the tears, skip the movement, and yes—overeat a krentenbol or two.
Because healing through the time change isn’t about perfection.
It’s about regulation, not control. Presence, not performance.
When I stop fighting the fog, the light always returns.
If You’re Riding the Time Change Waves Too…
You’re not regressing—you’re rebalancing.
You’re syncing to a new frequency that your sensitive system can feel more deeply than most.
So, if you’re waking too early, feeling off, or craving warmth, remember this:
You’re not behind. You’re just catching up with the light.
Ground a little.
Touch your belly.
Eat something cozy.
Wait for your rhythm to return.
Because it will.
It always does.
Want to dive deeper into my full healing story?
I’ve written The Indigo Healing Guide to share everything I’ve learned in 15 years of living with Epstein-Barr, post-viral fatigue, and quantum sensitivity. It’s part memoir, part manual—created for anyone walking a similar path. I wrote it because I couldn’t find the kind of guide I desperately needed back then. So I made it—for you.
