The Balance of Healing: Receiving vs. Integrating

Healing isn’t just about doing—it’s also about allowing. Over the past year, I’ve immersed myself in holistic healing, constantly adding new treatments, habits, and practices. But I recently realized that I wasn’t giving my body enough space to integrate the benefits. Even something as good as grounding can be overdone if we don’t allow time for absorption. True healing happens in both action and rest, in both receiving and settling. If we chase results too much, we miss the natural unfolding of progress. Sometimes, the most powerful thing we can do is trust—and simply let healing happen.

Navigating the Intensity of Meridian Pain: A Personal Journey of Healing and Transformation

The pain in my meridians hit like a wave, a deep, aching discomfort that left me questioning what was happening to my body. What was once a manageable feeling turned into sharp, tingly moments that flared up after deep healing sessions and meditation. This began after my anxiety reached a peak, impacting my nervous system, already inflamed from years of living with Epstein-Barr. Now, as I heal deeper, the meridian pain is part of the process, a reflection of my body recalibrating. With Shiatsu treatments and a growing understanding of my own energy, I’m learning to embrace it.
